Board Dogs

Dogs are provided both indoor and outdoor time.  We have a large split back yard where we can allow dogs to play or be isolated as per the need.

For boarding, Jewell can pick up and deliver your dogs if needed.  Call to arrange pickup or delivery.  To see how much it will cost for boarding and/or pickup, visit our 'Prices' page and plug in your boarding dates.

Jewell has years of experience caring for and boarding all sorts of animals - from squirrels to cats to 'possums to dogs.  She has a full boarding facility in Williams, OR that has been open since 1987 to scores of pets and small animals.  Here in Glendale, there is limited space for now.  That is both fortunate and unfortunate! 

On the unfortunate side - while we hope someday to find a place to expand and have more boarders, for now, we must limit our boarding to keep from being overwhelmed. 

On the fortunate side, you can rest assured that your pets are treated just like one of the family.  We always hate to see them go!

Provide Dog Obedience training for your animal while being boarded

While Jewell is caring for your dog, she can provide basic obedience training.  Required is at least a single private training session following the training to ensure that both you and your dog are trained properly.  Believe it or not, Jewell has actually visited homes to train dogs only to find that they were very well trained, but the owners didn't know...

Provide Private Training in Dog Obedience

Jewell can travel to your home to provide training on a one-on-one basis between you and your dog.

Provide Basic Dog Obedience Classes

Jewell has outdoor group classes in Basic Dog Obedience scheduled over the Fall, Winter, and Spring.  It's just too darn hot in the summer to do group classes.

Provide Advanced Dog Obedience Classes

Jewell has outdoor group classes in Advanced Dog Obedience scheduled over the Fall, Winter, and Spring.

CGC Testing

Jewell am an AKC certified tester for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title.  The next class will take place 15 May 2007 (See 'Scheduled Classes').  Other times may be scheduled with me upon need.

My Experience

Jewell first became interested in canine training in 1975 when, with her dog Chip, she won the first of many events.  While she is a "self-proclaimed dog nut", her experiences, her attitude, and her love for animals of all kinds is evident.  Since 1986, Jewell has been working with and training dogs both in Oregon and in Arizona.

Jewell has been actively involvedwith Delta Society Therapy Dogs, Dogs for the Deaf, and AKC for many years.

Besides being a competitor, Jewell judged prestigious AKC matches for years and has received awards for her efforts and capabilities.
